Une soirée animée et captivante avec la communauté HD francophone

Le 18 novembre, l’équipe Moving Forward, associée à l’Association Huntington France et la Ligue Huntington Francophone Belge, ont organisé un webinaire auprès de la communauté française et belge francophone afin de partager les retours d’expérience suite à la conférence EHDN-Enroll-HD 2024, ainsi que les avancées de la Recherche.
96 personnes de différents pays y ont assisté, ce qui met en lumière le fort intérêt de la communauté MH pour ces sujets. Pour ceux qui n’ont pas pu assister au webinaire, vous pouvez regarder l’enregistrement ici:
Conversation en ligne (en espagnol) avec l’aventurier français Dimitri Poffé

En juin dernier, notre coordonnatrice de projet en Russie, Zaynab Umakhanova, a eu l’occasion d’interviewer Dimitri Poffé et de tout apprendre sur son projet « Explore for Huntington ». Vous trouverez cette interview ici.
Grâce à ce projet, qui lui a permis de faire du vélo dans toute l’Amérique latine depuis 6 mois, Dimitri a également appris à parler espagnol.

Au cours d’un mois chargé de travail de diffusion, Filipa Júlio, de l’équipe Moving Forward, a assisté à la 11e Conférence européenne sur les maladies rares et orphelines fin juin.
Cet événement en ligne a été rejoint par plus de 800 personnes de la communauté des maladies rares à travers l’Europe et il a été pensé pour être la plate-forme parfaite pour présenter le travail de Moving Forward sur « Let Us Talk : A Communication Skills Training Course for Healthcare Professionals working with Huntington Disease »
Moving Forward présente E-Poster au Congrès de l’Académie européenne de neurologie

Fin juin, Astri Arnesen et Filipa Júlio, de l’équipe Moving Forward, ont assisté au 8e Congrès de l’Académie européenne de neurologie à Vienne, en Autriche.
L’Association Européenne Huntington a présenté deux exposés au Congrès : une communication orale sur l’implication des familles MH dans la recherche par Astri Arnesen, et une présentation sur affiche électronique sur les facteurs influençant la participation de la recherche à la maladie de Huntington: Indices d’Europe du Sud et de l’Est par Filipa Júlio.
Moving Forward fait “De Ronde”

« De Ronde » est l’un des noms du « Tour des Flandres », une course cycliste sur route qui se déroule chaque année en Flandre – Belgique.
Plus tôt ce mois-ci (Juillet) Filipa Júlio, de l’équipe Moving Forward, a été invitée par Bea De Schepper, vice-présidente de la Ligue Huntington , l’Association flamande MH, à visiter la belle région de la Flandre en Belgique et à rencontrer les différents acteurs et organisations clés de la communauté flamande HD.
Pourquoi nous rejoindre lors de conférences MH?

Après une (trop longue) pause en raison de la pandémie, la communauté MH est heureuse de revenir au rythme normal des conférences mondiales consacrées à la maladie de Huntington.
Le réseau européen de lutte contre la maladie de Huntington prépare les derniers détails de la première rencontre en personne après l’arrêt du coronavirus. Il vous reste environ un mois pour vous inscrire à l’Assemblée plénière de l’EHDN2022 qui se tiendra à Bologne – Italie, du 16 au 18 septembre 2022.

Entretien avec le fondateur du projet « explore for huntington », le voyageur français Dimitri Poffé
La communauté MH fait preuve d’une solidarité unique et de beaucoup d’inspiration en partageant ses histoires de vie. Dimitri Poffé est l’une de ces personnes qui stimule la communauté MH. Il y a environ un an, Dimitri a lancé le projet « Explore for Huntington », qui l’a amené à voyager à vélo partout en Amérique latine pour sensibiliser la population à la maladie de Huntington, rencontrer des familles MH et découvrir leurs histoires.
Première rencontre nationale en Espagne : « L’incertitude de l’attente »

Le 7 mai, l’équipe de Moving Forward a promu pour la première fois en Espagne une rencontre nationale spécifiquement destinée aux porteurs MH potentiels et aux personnes atteintes de MH prémanifeste. Pour la plupart des participants, c’était la première fois qu’ils assistaient à une réunion en lien avec la Haute Définition.

En avril 2022, l’équipe de Moving Forward a été invitée par Danuta Lis (Photo 1 – troisième à partir de la droite), la présidente de l’Association polonaise Huntington, à présenter le projet à la communauté HD polonaise lors du 26e Congrès de l’Association polonaise Huntington/ Polskie Stowarzyszenie Choroby Huntingtona.

L’incertitude de l’attente

Le 7 mai aura lieu la première réunion informelle s’adressant au groupe des porteurs de la maladie de Huntington (MH) en Espagne. La rencontre aura lieu de 16h00 à 20h00 à Espacio Imaguru à Madrid et est promu par l’Association européenne Huntington (EHA) et par l’Asociación Corea de Huntington Española (ACHE).

Moving Forward Survey in Russia

The project Moving Forward has recently started in Russia, in a close collaboration between the Orphan People and EHA.
One of the first actions within the project was to develop an anonymous online survey to assess the perceptions and experiences about research participation among persons at risk for HD and persons with premanifest HD in Russia.

Moving Forward in Russia: Meeting in Volgograd

On August 7, 2021 «Moving Forward» project was presented in hero-city Volgograd. 14 members of HD families and 10 doctors- neurologists attended the Interregional School of Health for the families with HD where the project was presented by the Russian coordinator Zaynab Umakhanova.
The meeting was organized by the non-commercial charity organization “Orphan People” thanks to the support of the Presidential Grants Fund.
Moving Forward in Russia: Meeting in Khabarovsk

The second city to present the project was Khabarovsk, that is situated in the Far East of Russia. On July 24th , 2021 in a warm and comfortable atmosphere at the “Khabarovsk City” boutique-hotel.
During the interregional “School of Health”, organized by the center “Orphan People”, 12 HD family members and 12 neurologists from Khabarovsk gathered together to discuss topical questions that bother members of HD families.
Moving Forward in Russia: Meeting in Tomsk

The European Huntington Association is happy to announce the launch of the international project «Moving Forward» in Russia! The first city to present the project was Tomsk, which is situated in Syberia.
17 members of the HD families and several doctors-neurologists attended the interregional “School of Health”, organized by the center “Orphan People”.
