Moving Forward wins grant from the European Federation of Neurological Associations

A Moving Forward subproject was one of EFNA’s chosen grant recipients in 2021, in a call with the theme “Personalised Health and Social Care”.
The project, called “Let Us Talk: building up the communication skills of HD professionals to empower HD families”, was selected by a judging panel composed by several patient representatives, and received an award of €7,500.
We will work together with HD professionals, local HD associations and patient representatives to increment the HD professionals’ skills on ways to communicate, welcome and relate to HD families, particularly persons at risk for HD and persons with premanifest HD. The project will run between September 2021 and February 2022.
