Survey results: moving forward together!

On Wednesday, June 25th, an online webinar was held for the Italian Moving Forward community. During the meeting, attended by 26 people, we shared the results of the Survey on the experiences and needs of the Huntington’s community in Italy.
In total, 179 people completed the survey, with different connections to the disease. The data show that more than half of respondents take care of a person with HD and work at the same time. Also, more than half of the respondents do not feel part of a community. Among the main unmet needs are practical help and psychological support, especially for younger people (under 35).
To answer this need, Moving Forward has planned an online webinar to share personal stories, which will take place on Tuesday, September 17th at 6 PM CET.
