Moving Forward is now part of Teaming, an online fundraising tool where you can donate €1/month to support our project.
Teaming is an online tool to raise funds in favour of social causes with micro donations of 1€ a month. Our philosophy is based on the idea that 1€ does not have much of an impact if donated alone, but if we join forces, we can make beautiful projects possible.
We will use this funding to:
- host online and face-to-face meetings for HD families to meet, connect, exchange experiences and feel more empowered;
- offer psychological support to the younger generations from HD families;
- produce and share validated and updated information about HD and HD research in several languages;
- build bridges and bring together the local HD families, clinicians and researchers.
Moving Forward is a project run by the European Huntington Association that aims to provide high quality information and tailored support to the young generations of families impacted by Huntington’s Disease. The Moving Forward project was created to provide support and information to the young generations from families impacted by HD. Specifically, this project wants to bring people at risk of HD, people who tested positive and people who tested negative closer to the patient organizations, clinics and research centres.
Moving Forward is currently operating in Spain, Norway, Belgium (Flanders and Wallonia), Sweden, France, Italy and The Netherlands.
