Italian Community Reflections on the EHA Congress 2025

On Wednesday, November 26th, an online webinar was held for the Italian community, where participants shared their experience at the EHA Congress in Bucharest.
We heard the story of a young family member attending an HD-related event for the first time, a psychologist from the HD Association discovering the congress experience also for the first time, and a Huntington Onlus board member and family caregiver who had already taken part in previous HD-related international events.
It was a heartfelt and inspiring moment. These stories showed how taking part in Huntington-related events can offer encouragement, energy, and a real sense of connection within the community.
We had 40 registrations and 25 people joining the event from several parts of Italy, but mostly from Lombardy and Veneto.
We hope these testimonies can inspire the Italian HD families and professionals to be more active in the international HD community.
