Next Online Session in Spanish “Assisted Reproduction and PGD in Huntington's Disease: Cristina's Story”

Moving Forward and the Spanish Federation of People Affected by Huntington’s Disease (FEPAEH), in collaboration with the Juana Crespo Team, invite you to an online session dedicated to a topic of great relevance to Huntington’s families: Assisted Reproduction and Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD).
The event, scheduled for May 14, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. CET, will offer both a medical and personal perspective on the reproductive options available, focusing on PGD.
In this special session, we will hear from Cristina, a member of a Huntington’s family who is currently pregnant with her second child thanks to PGD. We will also be joined by medical professionals from the Juana Crespo team who have supported her through this complex process on her journey to motherhood:
• Nadia Caroppo, Gynecologist specializing in Reproductive Medicine
• Ana Alambiaga, Geneticist
They will provide valuable information about the PGD process and other reproductive strategies. The aim of this online meeting is to share clear information, answer questions, and offer real-life experiences that can serve as a guide for others in similar situations.
