On November 12^th the European Huntington Association/Moving Forward team in collaboration with AVAEH – Asociación Valenciana de Enfermedad de Huntington and the Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria La Fe will held the 2^nd Moving Forward meeting in Spain – this time in sunny Valencia.

Based on the positive feedback we got from those attending the meeting we organized earlier this year in Madrid we are putting together a meeting that will focus on research and will inform in a plain and friendly way about the ongoing and planned HD studies and trials.

The meeting will start with a presentation of the highlights of the European Huntington’s Disease Network conference in Bologna, combining the testimonies of clinicians and family members. Then, we will have a didactic stroll through the different HD research units within the Instituto La Fe. During this hands-on experience, the participants will meet the researchers up close and personal and will get a true sense of what happens inside a research/clinical department working in Huntington’s disease. Lastly, the Moving Forward team will present the impact of the work done so far in Spain and the upcoming actions planned for the Spanish HD community.

The morning will end with a typical Valencian get-together around a tasty paella, where people will have a lot of time to meet and share experiences in a welcoming and informal setting. Stay tuned with all the HD research progresses and join us in Valencia!
