Presentation of the Project "Moving Forward" in Volgograd, Russia

The project moves forward – on August 7, 2021 «Moving Forward» project was presented in hero-city Volgograd. 14 members of HD families and 10 doctors- neurologists attended the Interregional School of Health for the families with HD where the project was presented by the Russian coordinator Zaynab Umakhanova.
The meeting was organized by the non-commercial charity organization “Orphan People” thanks to the support of the Presidential Grants Fund. The project aims at including people from Huntington’s disease families in drug development by facilitating an active and long-lasting commitment from patients and family members.
During and after the meeting there was an active feedback about the project’s initiative from the Russian HD community. All this gives us strength to move forward as We are here for us!
